School Re-Opening 2012-2013

Parents/Guardians,

Please note that Scoil Bhríde will re-open on WEDNESDAY 29th August at 8:50 am.  The new closing time will be 2:30pm.

Our Junior Infants will start with us at a different time of 10:00am - 12:00pm also on Wednesday 29th August.

School Bus Route 2012

The times for the new School Bus route have been given to us.

The girls will be collected at 2:30pm once school ends each day.

As this is a new service, there are bound to be a few teething-problems.  However I am certain it will all be worthwhile in the end.

Last Day in Scoil Bhríde

Our 26 girls in Sixth Class finished with us today.  All the staff will really miss them!

We hope they have a fantastic summer!!!!!

New Schhool Times 2012-2013

We have decided to commence the new times when we come back to school on Wednesday 29th August.

• School starts = 8:50am
• Scchool closes = 2:30pm (1:30pm for Junior and Senior Infant Classes)

Cork City Sports 2012

CONGRATULATIONS to our Athletic's team who came Second in their group at the Cork City Sports on Firday 19th May.  This was a tremendous achievement and we are so proud of all of them!!

CINDERELLA 2012

The cast of the 6th Class Musical, CINDERELLA!  Well done to all the girls on such a fantastic performance!

6th class will be performing Cinderella on Thursday 10^th may at 7:30pm in the 

Coláiste Mhuire Hall.  

 Everyone is welcome to attend and it promises to be a very enjoyable and special night!!

GOLD RUSH 2012

We are holding a “Gold Rush” in our school on Friday 1^st June,  leading up to the June Bank Holiday.  This event is being held in aid of CF Ireland, a charity which is very close to all our hearts here in Scoil Bhríde. 

 

The idea is quite simple!   

We are asking the girls to collect as many “Gold” coins as they can over the next few weeks.  This will particularly include 10c, 20c, 50c coins, as well as a few  €1 and €2 coins if you have them to spare.  Once the coins are collected and brought into school, we hope to have great fun making “Gold Trails” around the corridors and buildings here in Scoil Bhríde.

It is a really fun idea and I hope everyone will try their best to support it!

Fifth Class win at Féis Maitiú as well!!

Congratulations to our Fifth Class who ALSO won their section of the Féis Maitiú Choral Speaking Competition on Tuesday 6th March. Well done also to Ms. Hayes their class teacher.

Recorder Lessons 2012

Just to let everyn know that our Recorder Lessons for this year have commenced. The fee is €20 and this is due durig the week 5th - 9th March.

First Confession
